Volunteer Your Time

Cloa’s Ark Animal Sanctuary wants to thank all their volunteers both past and active for giving their time to help us in our daily life.

We are always looking for compassionate, motivated, and committed volunteers to donate their time and support us in our mission to rescue and nurture animals abused, neglected or not wanted.

So if you are interested in volunteering or doing an interneship at Cloa’s Ark Animal Sanctuary you need to read this:

1) Reminder: What is the definition of volunteer?

a person who does something, esp. for other people or for an organization, willingly and without being forced or paid to do it …

So basically it means that like in a job you need to be able to listen, observe ,learn and follow directions.

Because this is in a small structure you need to be a fast learner and independent as after training you will be working often on your own!

2)You need to make a choice at the beginning what type of volunteer you want to become:

-involved and trained is at least coming 2 times a week. (this will be based on your skills.)

-occasional is only on week-end.

3) if you are interested you need to call us (no email ,form or resume are necessary), talking with us to set up a tour and discuss about your motivation will do the trick.

if you don’t have time to make a phone call probably best you forget about volunteering either!

4) What will you get?

First: the pleasure to work and be with the most loving and sweet creatures on earth! in a small and personal size environment.Get all the healing power and energy from these innocent and beautiful animals.

Second: the satisfaction to be part of one of the most difficult and challenging job there is!

third : if you are willing to spend enough time to get a training in any topics you choose: animal care, Education and outreach, Funding, Office work, computer skills, Construction and repair, you will gain enough experience to be using it as a reference for a paid job!
